Harry Flooed into the kitchen of the Burrow to find Mrs Weasley and Charlie bent over a pan. At the sound of his entrance, they both turned and smiled as they called out a greeting. When Draco came through the fire a moment later, Harry was pleased to see the smiles didn't fade.

Mrs Weasley spoke first. “Ron said you two were dating. Good to see you, Draco.” She came around and gave them both hugs before accepting Draco's wine and biscuits. She sent them off to find Bill for a drink and then returned to whatever she and Charlie were preparing.

The living room was full of the trappings of Christmas. The large tree by the door was ladden with hand-crafted decorations, while the mantle over the fire held pretty ornaments and golden candles. Mr Weasley and Bill were talking by the fire with glasses of mulled wine, but Bill stopped as soon as he saw Draco.

“Draco! I was just telling my dad about yesterday.” He looked at Harry as he added, “Did you know that your boyfriend saved the Muggle government?”

Draco's cheeks went pink and he tried to wave Bill off, but Bill pressed on with his story. Apparently someone had Cursed Big Ben so that any Muggles within two blocks of it became befuddled. The damage was less than if it had been a weekday, but apparently the Obliviators had been hard at work while Draco and Bill worked for hours to break the Curse. The way Bill told it, the final success was entirely Draco's creative thinking, and Bill would have still been there working if Draco hadn't found a solution.

Harry didn't know if Bill was exaggerating or not, but what was clear was how impressed Bill was with Draco's work. That clearly carried weight with Mr Weasley, who congratulated Draco and asked about how the Curse worked with the mechanics of the famous Muggle clock. Harry just stayed quiet as he watched three of the men he admired most converse like intellectual equals.
